They come in a variety of forms, including hyaluronic acid fillers, botox, and collagen stimulators. Each type of injectable has its own unique properties and effects on the skin.

    How Does It Work?

Injectable skin treatments work by introducing substances such as hyaluronic acid, collagen, or Botox into the skin, which helps to restore a more youthful appearance.

Radiesse is a popular injectable treatment composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier. The product works similarly to dermal fillers by providing support beneath the skin’s surface and helping to fill out wrinkles and fine lines for improved texture, tone, and elasticity.

    How Long Do Results Last?

Depending on the agent chosen and dosage administered  they typically lasti between 6 months up to 2 years.

Radiesse injectables are considered a long-lasting treatment, with results typically lasting up to 2 years. The longevity of Radiesse results depend on the individual’s age, lifestyle, skin type and injection site as well as how much you plan on receiving in a single session.

Additionally, as collagen stimulation from injections continues over time, it can often lead to enhanced results that last even longer than initially expected.

    Who Can Benefit From This?

Injectables are suitable for individuals looking to reduce the signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines, or contour areas of the face or body.

The ideal candidates for injectables would be those who want to achieve a more youthful appearance with minimal pain, discomfort, or downtime.

Furthermore, they are an excellent choice for those seeking non-surgical solutions to improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity while promoting the growth of new cells to give the complexion a luminous glow.

Pre-Treatment Care

Injectable skin treatments such as Radiesse require some preparation and care before and after the procedure.

  • Before receiving an injectable treatment, it is important for individuals to discuss their desired outcomes with a licensed physician or trained aesthetician who can assess their individual needs and suggest the most suitable product.

  • You should ensure your skin is clean, free of makeup and any other irritation such as cuts or abrasions before receiving treatment.

  • Patients should avoid alcohol and certain medications that may increase bleeding or bruising including aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E and fish oil supplements as well as herbal supplements such as gingko biloba.

  • You should refrain from facials or any other skincare treatments two weeks prior to receiving injections in order to reduce inflammation which could affect the results of their treatment.

  • Lastly, you should also stay out of direct sunlight exposure on the day of their treatment in order to minimize the risk of burns or sun damage which could affect the final outcome.

Post-Treatment Care

Post-treatment care is just as important for achieving long lasting results from injectables.

  • Immediately after receiving injections, patients may experience slight redness or swelling at the injection sites which typically subsides within a few hours after treatment.

  • In addition to this initial discomfort, patients may also experience bruising around the injection sites which can be minimized using ice packs during the first 24 hours after treatment.

  • Patients should avoid strenuous activities or exercise within 24 hours following a session in order to allow time for recovery.

  • Lastly, it is important for individuals to protect their skin with sunscreen when exposed to direct sunlight following a session in order to minimize fading and uneven results over time.

Following these pre-treatment and post-treatment tips will help ensure you receive maximum benefit from our injectable treatments while minimizing potential side effects such as bruising or swelling.
